OutAndAboutLocal.org is a social club. It is for real life, not online. We reflect the vibrancy of Gainesville’s LGBTQIA+ community and allies while helping facilitate new and enduring friendships. Membership is FREE, requiring only a screen name and email address or phone number.At least once a month we get together in real life to do something fun. We may congregate at an outdoor cafe, have a crafting session in a park, or see a movie together. Events will occasionally have an entry fee, such as group movie outings. In the case of fundraising events, there will be a suggested, non-mandatory donation.I started Out And About Local in association with the Pride Community Center of North Central Florida to grow my own and others friendships and connections within the community.
